It's been a good long while since I've posted anything on here, but I figured it was past time to dust off the ol blog and write some things. If anyone has been with me for any length of time, you know my love for the city of LA. I spend a fair amount of time there every year between the Dodgers and Disney. California in general is a place that I love, that I hold very dear. The images coming out over the last couple of days have had me in tears. I can't imagine the devastation, or fleeing my home, and I hope that we as humans walking through this world that somehting like this can happen to anyone, anywhere. From hurricaines in Florida, freezes in Texas and wildfires in California, none of us are immune.
I'm not sure what I'm trying to say here, other than let's pray and think of our fellows when situations like this come up. We all live in this world, and my hope is that somehow, some way, we can make it a little bit kinder, a little bit softer.
